For more than half a century, forward thinkers at Princeton have looked across the spectrum of environmental issues and have been making pivotal contributions to solving some of humanity’s toughest problems related to climate, food and water, biodiversity and energy.
Moderated by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Juliet Eilperin ’92, this month’s programming will feature Jesse Jenkins, Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment; Forrest Meggers, Assistant Professor of Architecture and the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment; Shana Weber, Director, Office of Sustainability and Lecturer in the High Meadows Environmental Institute; and Claire White, Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment, among others who will share the work happening at centers of environmental excellence across the University that can give us a reason for optimism.
Forward Fest will stream on the University’s YouTube channel and on forwardthinking.princeton.edu/festival, where attendees can also submit questions for the live Q&A. Registration is not required.
