Event Description
What: Princeton Research Day is a celebration of the research, scholarly and creative work conducted by early-career researchers from across the campus in the arts and humanities, natural sciences, social sciences and engineering.
Who: Undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs and other early-career non-faculty researchers can present their projects and on-going work.
How:
- Participants make a 3-minute video about their research, scholarly or creative work. Videos will be posted online and will be visible to the public.
- Participants can also present their work in person at the PRD Research and Creative Endeavors Showcase on May 11, 2023.
- PRD judges view and select presentations for awards and cash prizes. Awards will be given at the PRD Mainstage May 11, 2023.
When:
- March 30 - Video submission opens
- May 3 - Final video submission deadline for award consideration
- May 5 - PRD videos posted online for viewing and judging
- May 11, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Princeton Research Day, Frist Campus Center
- 12 – 1:30 pm Showcase, Frist Center, 100 Level
- Speak with researchers to learn about the diverse research taking place at Princeton.
- Vote for your favorite poster presentation.
- 1:30 – 2:30 pm Reception, Frist Gallery, Basement Level
- 2:30 – 4:30 pm Awards Celebration, Frist Multipurpose Room, Basement Level
- View award-winning videos and Q&As with the presenters.
- Find out who won awards and cash prizes for the top videos and poster presentations.
- 12 – 1:30 pm Showcase, Frist Center, 100 Level

Audience:
Princeton Research Day is open to the entire campus community and the public May 11, 2023 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Videos can be watched online any time after May 5.
