Research Opportunity Number: PRI-02
Project Title: Hydrogels for Water Purification
Project Summary: The project will involve the synthesis and characterization of hydrogels, in either bulk or as surface coatings, to be tested as materials to enable low-energy water purification.
Student Roles and Responsibilities: Initially, the student will work closely with a postdoc working on the project. Over time, the student will be given individual tasks to perform (under the supervision of the postdoc) as part of the larger work. At no time, will the student work alone. Tasks will primarily include: synthesis preparation and materials characterization.
Additional Considerations: Start and end dates are flexible, but the student should ideally be available from 10am to 3 or 4pm daily, for a minimum of 5-6 weeks.
