Bio/Description

As Senior Associate Director of Communications in the Office of the Dean for Research (ODFR), Maureen leads communications operations, supports the evolving needs of the research community, and enhances ODFR’s impact on campus. She previously served as Vice President of Communications at the New York Health Foundation, which has a mission to improve the health of all New Yorkers, especially people of color and others who have been historically marginalized.

Earlier, Maureen worked at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, where she focused on building relationships with federal policymakers and working with grantees to communicate effectively with elected officials, the media, and other key audiences.

Maureen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Colgate University and a Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health.
