Research Orientation Program for New Faculty

The Faculty Research Forum aims to create a conversation between new faculty, research administrators and senior faculty around success strategies for establishing a research program as an assistant professor. This forum is a new program for assistant professors in their first few years at Princeton. Each session introduces broad topics relevant to launching an independent career, with an emphasis on building faculty-administrator relationships and developing an interdisciplinary peer network on campus. Selected sessions are tailored to research in specific disciplines; others will be hosted as a shared conversation across all disciplines. The Faculty Research Forum program is sponsored by the Office of the Dean for Research with participation from campus units that provide services, advice and support for faculty in their scholarly activities.
